Distracted driving - US National Safety Council Campaign

The US National Safety Council are running a campaign on distracted driving, emphasising the risks of hands-free phone use whilst driving.

Have a look at the infographics and share them with anyone who may find them useful, as the role of cognitive distraction is insufficiently understood by most people.

5th International DriverMetrics Users' Conference

On 7th June we will be holding the 5th International DriverMetrics Users' Conference at Cranfield University.  We look forward to welcoming speakers from as far away as Texas, USA to share their experiences of using DriverMetrics products as part of their driver risk management programmes.

Dr Julie Gandolfi becomes Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society

In May 2014, Dr Julie Gandolfi was invited to become an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, having been registered as a Chartered Psychologist for a number of years.

Eyecare 3000

In January 2012, Julie presented at the Eyecare 3000 conference in Glasgow, on the subject of Managing the Older Driver Problem, in order to inform optometrists about the role they can play in older drivers' self-regulation.

Presentation at the European Commission

Recently, Julie attended the International Youth Forum on Road Safety at the European Commission, and spoke on the development of effective road safety initiatives for young drivers.

END2END 2010

A team from Driving Research Ltd. undertook the StreetSafari End2End 2010 challenge, travelling from Lands End to John O'Groats via the "scenic route" in a very cheap car, towing a trailer and undertaking a series of challenges along the way.
